Terms of Service Privacy Policy Community Guidelines

Terms of Service

1. What SEEN Is

SEEN is a facilitated platform for structured, anonymous, one-on-one human conversations. It is a space for presence, witnessing, and contact between strangers.

SEEN is not therapy. SEEN is not counseling. SEEN is not mental health treatment of any kind. Nothing that occurs within SEEN constitutes a therapeutic relationship, a clinical intervention, or professional mental health support. No facilitator, participant, or staff member of SEEN is acting in a licensed professional mental health capacity on behalf of the platform.

SEEN is not a substitute for medical advice, psychological diagnosis, psychiatric treatment, crisis intervention, or any form of licensed professional care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified mental health professional or call emergency services in your area.

2. Who You Are Talking To

When you participate in a SEEN encounter, you are speaking with another person who has not been verified as a licensed therapist, counselor, psychologist, psychiatrist, social worker, or any other credentialed mental health professional. Participants are unvetted strangers. SEEN does not verify credentials, backgrounds, or professional qualifications beyond the application process described on its platform.

By using SEEN, you acknowledge and accept that you are entering a conversation with an unknown individual and that SEEN makes no representations about the suitability, safety, qualifications, or character of any participant.

3. Age Requirement

You must be 18 years of age or older to use SEEN. By applying and participating, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. SEEN reserves the right to terminate access if there is reason to believe the age requirement has been misrepresented. No refund will be issued in such cases.

4. No Recording

Recording of any SEEN encounter, in any format including audio, video, screen capture, or any other method, is strictly prohibited. This applies to all participants in every encounter at all times. Violation constitutes immediate grounds for permanent removal from the platform with no refund, and may subject the violating party to legal liability.

5. No Quality Guarantee

SEEN does not guarantee the quality, outcome, or experience of any encounter. Human connection is inherently unpredictable. Some encounters will be profound. Others may feel incomplete or unsatisfying. SEEN does not promise any particular emotional result, therapeutic benefit, or interpersonal outcome from participation.

6. Liability Release

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you release SEEN, Whole Body Mindset LLC, and Paul Blanchard, and their respective officers, employees, contractors, and agents, from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, costs, or expenses of any kind arising from or related to your participation in SEEN encounters, your use of the platform, or any content shared during encounters.

This release includes claims arising from emotional distress, interpersonal conflict, breach of confidentiality by other participants, technical failures, encounter outcomes, or any other cause connected to your use of SEEN.

By using SEEN, you assume full responsibility for your own wellbeing before, during, and after any encounter.

7. Violations and Removal

Violation of any SEEN policy, including but not limited to recording encounters, engaging in prohibited behaviors listed in the Community Guidelines, misrepresenting your identity or age, or using SEEN outside its stated purpose, will result in immediate and permanent removal from the platform with no refund. SEEN reserves sole discretion in determining what constitutes a violation.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the SEEN platform, or your use thereof shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration rather than in court. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action. Arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis. The arbitrator decision shall be final and binding.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [STATE], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to These Terms

SEEN reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform following notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

  • First and last name

  • Phone number
  • A public social profile URL, used to verify you are a real person
  • Your answers to the application questions

We do not collect payment information directly. Any payment processing is handled by a third-party processor subject to their own privacy policies. We do not record encounters. We do not collect audio or video from your sessions.

How We Use Your Information

Your application data is used solely to:

  • Review your application and assess suitability for the SEEN community
  • Communicate with you about your application status, upcoming encounters, and platform updates

  • Maintain the integrity and safety of the SEEN community

We Do Not Sell Your Data

Application data is retained for as long as your account is active or as needed to comply with legal obligations. If you request deletion of your data, we will remove it within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any overriding legal requirements.

Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your personal information. No internet-based platform can guarantee absolute security, and by using SEEN you acknowledge this inherent limitation.

Questions about your privacy or data can be directed to the SEEN team through the contact information provided on the platform.

Community Guidelines

SEEN is a space for real human presence. What happens here is not performance, not networking, and not treatment. It is contact. These guidelines protect that quality.

What SEEN Is For

SEEN encounters are designed for mutual witnessing. You show up. The other person shows up. You are both fully present with what is real, without agenda or outcome. That is the practice.

Prohibited Behaviors

The following behaviors are explicitly prohibited and will result in immediate permanent removal from SEEN with no refund:

  • Recording. Any recording of an encounter, in any format, for any purpose, is strictly prohibited.
  • Sexual content or solicitation. Sexual conversation, sexual solicitation, or any attempt to use SEEN as a dating or sexual platform is prohibited.
  • Harassment. Intimidating, threatening, demeaning, or targeting another participant in any way is prohibited.
  • Unsolicited advice-giving. Positioning yourself as an expert, directing another person's choices, or persistently offering guidance they have not asked for is contrary to the spirit of this platform.
  • Therapy-seeking behavior. Using SEEN as a substitute for professional mental health support, or treating encounters as clinical sessions, is outside the scope of this platform. If you need clinical support, seek it from a licensed professional.
  • Predatory behavior. Any attempt to exploit another participant's vulnerability, establish unequal power dynamics, or use the intimacy of the SEEN format for personal gain is prohibited.
  • Solicitation. Promoting products, services, businesses, or causes within a SEEN encounter is prohibited.
  • Identity misrepresentation. Participating under a false identity, false age, or false pretenses is prohibited.

The Tone We Hold

You are here to be with another person. Not to fix them. Not to impress them. Not to perform for them. Bring what is real. Allow the other person to do the same.

Reporting

If you experience a violation during an encounter, report it to the SEEN team through the platform contact channel. All reports are reviewed seriously.
